A New Journey Begins

Well, it's that time a year. I will be attempting the maroon bells four-pass loop once again. This time, with some fresh faces.


2k10 Maroon Bells Team:



Dean "The Power Horse" Jaderston

Dean may have limited experience backpacking, but his ferociously large legs and Ox-like build make up for his lack of mountain exposure.


Mike "Gorilla Legs" Jaderston

Mike is quite possibly the hairiest man I know. His keen fishing and fire building skills make up for his inability to "empty his tank" when he is in new places (he has difficulty producing fecal matter in the wilderness).


Jake "Scissor foot" Jaderston

Jake is skinny but agile. He has zero experience, but he has 11 fingers, which gives him the advantage!


Matt "Butter King" Jaderston

Matt is a seasoned and experienced backpacker. He is swift, graceful, and full of life. His knowledge and supreme wisdom will guide this team to the promise land.




We will be leaving July 2nd for Denver, and will start hiking in Aspen on July 3rd. We will update this blog as often as possible. Stay tuned.
